Rub the lamp and get ready for the Gottlieb classic... GENIE!  This game was produced in 1979 by Gottlieb, creator of the most popular 70's pinball machines on the planet! This game was incredibly popular when new due to the classic Gottlieb drop target style gameplay and also because it was Gottlieb's very first WIDEBODY game.  This allowed the playfield to be packed with more features than any other game of the same period.  Genie also boasts Gottlieb's introduction of the multi-mode sound board, which replaced the earlier "tone board" and allowed for advanced music and sound effects.  Many pinball enthusiasts agree that Genie has some of the very best classic pinball artwork displayed on any machine.  The artwork created by Gordon Morrison makes it one of the most beautiful games ever created, so it's a delight to look at... even when you're not playing it. This machine appeals to players of all ages due to it's simple to understand rule-set and challenging gameplay.

You'll love the "futuristic" digital sound that was considered state-of-the-art at the time the game was created.  This game has all of the classic features that made Gottlieb great.  Everyone's favorite feature on classic-era pinball machines is the drop target and this game has loads of them!  Being a WIDEBODY game, the playfield has plenty of extra space and features a separate miniature playfield area with a huge bank of drop targets and it's own set of mini-flippers.  It's like having a game within a game!   Complete the top targets for EXTRA BALLS and SPECIALS!  Complete the center target bank for big bonus points and to increase the bonus multiplier!  Pump up your bonus score and shoot for the top right saucer and collect the mega-bonus!  The lower playfield area also features THREE flippers, making a total of FIVE FLIPPERS on the game!  From the banks of drop targets, to the stationary targets and kickout hole, to the pop bumpers and slingshot kickers, to the rollovers and center SPINNER, this playfield has a fast playing and well thought out design that will keep you entertained and challenged for hours at a time. Most players agree that Gottlieb made the best playing single-level playfield designs and this game is timeless. This classic theme goes great in any home gameroom!

This is a simply BEAUTIFUL game!  It's getting increasingly difficult to find 70's games that are worth restoring, but this on is a gem.  The playfield is in excellent condition and the original factory clearcoat shines like glass!  The original artwork plastics are in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks.  The playfield has been completely rebuilt with loads of brand new parts like pop-bumpers, posts, lane guides, flippers and targets.  The genuine screen-painted backglass is in excellent condition with very few imperfections. The cabinet is in fantastic condition with extremely minor blemishes and some touch ups.  The chrome legs have been polished and the original stainless steel coin door is in excellent condition.  See below for the full list of what has been done to this game.  This game plays lightning fast just like it did in 1979!
