This game was produced in 1992 by Data East, who now goes by the name Stern
Pinball and is the ONLY manufacturer of pinball machines left on the
planet! Data East is well known for tying great movie themes to great
playing pinball machines and this game is no exception with it's high-action
and fast-playing layout. Lethal Weapon was the very first Data East game
to feature the now standard sized dot-matrix display. It also features
ground breaking three-channel sound! Lethal Weapon is one of the
very best playing pinball machines that Data East has ever produced. Pinball machines are
presently enjoying a renaissance period with young and old alike enjoying
new-found joy in these games of the recent past. This game has genuine
Data East style play with ultra fast ball movement and
LOADS of playfield action.
You'll love all of the music, voices and sound effects that were pulled
directly from the movie soundtrack. You get a choice of THREE different
stereo soundtracks when you start the game! Fire the ball into play
with the machine-gun trigger towards the timed skill-shot for maximum
points. Complete the required shots and shoot for the tower for the
MULTI-BALL frenzy. There are many different modes of play on this game
that keep it exciting play after play. Shoot the backfield loop shot and
the bandit will try to gun you down. Grab the trigger of the machine-gun
and try to shoot him before he shoots you, all the while trying to keep the
ball in play with the flippers. Let's not forget the cool video mode
where you rapidly strike the flipper buttons to try to help Riggs beat up the
bad guy. Different modes in the game also cause the ROTATING POLICE
BEACON on top of the game to light up and spin like crazy! Those features are just the
beginning. You have a huge DOUBLE CORKSCREW RAMP, upkickers, kickout holes,
DROP TARGETS, stationary targets, roll-overs, pop-bumpers,
slingshots, spinners, loop shots and more! This game has so much going
for it, you will simply NEVER tire of it! Most pinball enthusiasts will
agree that this game is one of the best Data East games ever created. This popular
theme goes great in any home gameroom!
