A modern Bally billiard classic... POOL SHARKS!  This game was produced in 1990 by Bally/Williams, who is known throughout the world as having produced the greatest and most sought after pinball titles of the 80's and 90's. Williams pinball acquired the well-known Bally name around 1987 and continued to use the moniker on it's own great pinball designs. This game is immensely popular due to the ever-popular billiard theme, classic artwork and well-designed gameplay.  The game is also one of the rarer titles with only about 2,200 games produced.  Who on earth does not love to shoot pool?  This game brings all the fun of pocket billiards to you in a pinball format!  Pool Sharks has classic Bally/Williams style play with ultra fast ball movement and lots of ramp action.

Start up a game and you have a choice of playing either EIGHT-BALL or NINE-BALL!  You'll love the retro music, billiard sound effects and comedic speech from SHARKEY the TALKING SHARK.  Watch as his mouth moves in time with the speech!  Knock down the banks of drop-targets to sink your balls, then go for the ramps to sink the eight or nine ball and then go for the TRICK SHOT for a possible 3-MILLION points.  Complete the upper rollovers, chalk targets and a rack of balls to go for the PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT!  This playfield has a well thought out design that will keep you entertained and challenged for hours at a time.  It has great features such as dual upper ramps with diverters, seven drop-targets, pop-bumpers, rollovers, a captive ball, kickout holes and MORE! This classic theme goes great in any home billiard room or gameroom!

The playfield on this game is in gorgeous original condition and has the RARE DIAMOND-PLATE finish!  Most Pool Sharks playfields have an older finish that required a protective mylar to prevent wear.  In the early 90's, Williams started to experiment with a new and improved clear top-coat finish that was used on all of their later late-model games.  This improved finish was named DIAMOND-PLATE and was a vast improvement over their earlier finish.  There are about 100-200 Pool Sharks games with a DIAMOND-PLATE playfield!  The ramps and plastics are in excellent condition with minor imperfections.  This game has NEW OLD STOCK genuine silk-screened and mirrored backglass, not a plastic translight picture like most modern games, which makes the game really stand out from the rest.  The cabinet is in excellent condition with a few minor blemishes that have been touched-up.  The coin door has been refinished and the legs have been refinished in the correct dark-gray Bally color.  The flipper mechanical parts are all new!  See below for the full list of what has been done to this game.  She plays lightning fast just like she did in 1990!
