An 80's Gottlieb classic... Rock!  This game was produced in 1985 by Gottlieb, creator of the most popular pinball machines on the planet! Gottlieb and other companies were known to capitalize on popular themes of the time by making games that took advantage of popular culture of the time.  This game harkens to the new-wave and glam-rock music rage of the 80's when bands wore ripped-up costumes and produced hits with synthesizers, guitar riffs and pulsing drum tracks.  The backglass artwork on this game is retro-classic 80's at it's best.  Big 80's hair and leather abounds in this true Gottlieb masterpiece!  This game was incredibly popular when new due to the theme, fabulous music and classic Gottlieb drop-target style gameplay with a very unique playfield layout.

You'll love the 80's synthesizer rock tunes as you launch the ball up into the triple rollover lanes.  Watch the ball cascade into the upper mini-playfield area that has it's own set of mini-flippers to provide a game-within-a-game.  Try to drop the targets in sequence to advance through the 4 scoring levels for bigger points and SPECIALS!  There is also a lower bank of 5 drop-targets with a moving light in front of them.  Try to drop the target when the light is lit to advance through the R-O-C-K-&-R-O-L-L   L-I-V-E-S sequence to light the EXTRA BALL and to activate the DOUBLE SCORING round!  There is a really unique loop shot at the center of the playfield that brings the ball back down to the left flipper.  Make the shot when the left lanes are lit to spot letters!  This game also has dual spinning targets on either side of the playfield that create a fabulous drum-roll sound effect.  Make the left spinner shot and watch the ball travel all the way around to the upper right flipper!  That's just the start... from the slingshots, drop targets and stationary targets, to the rollovers and loop shots, this playfield has an incredibly entertaining and well thought out design that will keep you challenged for hours at a time. This classic theme goes great in any home gameroom!
