Very rare game with only 1,000 units produced!

A rare and collectable Gottlieb... TITLE FIGHT! This game was produced in 1990 by the Gottlieb company, who is known to have made the best and most sought after pinball games of all time. Title Fight is known as a "street-line" game. This was a series of games made by Gottlieb in the early 90's that featured a slightly smaller cabinet, simplified playfield layout with no ramps and an easier to understand ruleset. There were very few of these games produced as it was more or less a test run to see if the operators would be more inclined to purchase a slightly smaller and less expensive game. There were only 1,000 Title Fight games produced, which is an extremely low number. Although the games were somewhat simpler in design than the other games of the same era, they were some of the best playing Gottlieb electronic games ever produced! Unfortunately, Gottlieb didn't realize this until they had already stopped making the games. The boxing theme is extremely well integrated into this game and it features a mode where you actually get to use the flipper buttons to make the pugilists slug it out in the animated backbox. This game really brings the sport of boxing to life!

Come out swinging! The announcer shouts it as you press the start button. You'll love the lively music and boxing color commentary in the voice and style of Howard Cosell as you bash the ball around this classic playfield. Hit the targets and loop shots and work your way through the lower ranked contenders up to the TITLE FIGHT to become the new world champion! Sounds easy, but brother it ain't! This game features a separate upper area of the playfield shaped like a boxing ring with it's own set of mini-flippers and drop targets. Climb into the ring and watch the game lights dim and the ring light up and hear the REAL BOXING BELL ding inside the cabinet! Now it's you versus the drop targets in a timed battle of wits. Complete the targets within the alloted time and get the lit award and move on to the next level. Lose the ball in the ring and get ready to use the flipper buttons to beat your opponent to the punch as the animated boxers in the backglass swing their fists at each other! This machine has classic single-level gameplay with great features like drop-targets, standing targets, double captive balls, fast loop shots, kickout holes, pop-bumper and slingshot action, and even a MULTI-BALL mode. Another great feature of the game is a separate "punch-counter" display in the backglass that keeps track of the landed blows for your match for all 4 players. There's even a separate high score entry for the player with the most punches! This game is a real workout and the classic family-friendly theme goes great in any home gameroom!

Title Fight games are a rare find and getting harder to come by every year as the collectors find them and gobble up the supply. When you do find a Title Fight, they are usually beaten to death because they were so popular in the arcades. This game is quite the exception and is in beautiful overall condition, especially after the multitude of hours that were put into reconditioning it. The playfield on this game is in excellent condition due to the original factory mylar clear covering that protected most of the playfield. Brand new playfield posts, post caps, flipper bats, drop-targets, decals and pop-bumper cap have been installed. Most of the playfield artwork plastics have been replaced with new old stock pieces. The backglass translight is in excellent condition. The cabinet has some minor blemishes and touch-ups. The legs have been refinished and brand new playfield glass has been installed. The game plays lightning fast just like it did when it was new!

    * BRAND NEW playfield posts installed
    * BRAND NEW chrome post caps installed
    * BRAND NEW drop-targets with decals installed
    * BRAND NEW pop-bumper cap installed
    * BRAND NEW white flipper bats installed
    * BRAND NEW lower mechanical flipper parts
    * Bumpers and slingshots have been fully serviced
    * BRAND NEW mirror finish balls have been installed
    * Ball shooter has been rebuilt with new springs and sleeve
    * A full diagnostic test and software configuration was performed
    * Spare box of light bulbs is included
